Terima Kasih Lee Chong Wei

Our country's biggest hope for an Olympic gold medal fell on the shoulders of Lee Chong Wei, Malaysia's best shuttler. He battled with his heart, tears, blood and every nuance of his soul in the finals with his nemesis, Lin Dan.

Dato' Lee Chong Wei brought home the silver, and he apologises. This man in those one hour plus, united a nation. We don't mourn the fact that he didn't get the gold, our hearts broke because Chong Wei gave it his all and more. We are shattered because he feels that he has let Malaysia down. He didn't.
